Il parto in casa all’epoca delle nostre nonne era la normalità, ma anche oggi un numero sempre crescente di donne sceglie di dare alla luce il proprio bimbo tra le mura domestiche. Partorire in casa ha diversi vantaggi, primi fra tutti la tranquillità e l’intimità, che spesso vengono a mancare in ospedale. Partorendo in casa, la futura mamma non soffre il distacco dalla famiglia, in particolare dal compagno e da eventuali altri figli. Il recupero post parto, ovviamente, avviene in casa, senza il bisogno di giorni di ricovero. Questa tranquillità sembra avere notevoli risvolti positivi sulla partoriente, visto che da un recente studio dei ricercatori del Centro Cochrane è emerso che tra le donne che partoriscono in casa c’è un minor ricorso al cesareo e all’epidurale e che anche rischi come emorragie post parto e lacerazioni sono ridotti.

Parto in casa: chi può

Il parto naturale in casa non è pericoloso, tuttavia non tutte le donne possono sceglierlo. Per partorire in casa senza rischi (o comunque con rischi minimi, gli stessi a cui si potrebbe andare incontro partorendo in ospedale), bisogna che la mamma e il bambino siano in perfetta salute. In particolare, è necessario che:

  • la gravidanza sia a termine,
  • la pressione sanguigna sia nella norma,
  • non ci sia anemia,
  • il bambino sia cresciuto completamente,
  • il bambino sia in posizione cefalica,
  • il travaglio inizi spontaneamente.

Il parto in casa è sconsigliato in caso di patologie della madre e del feto, di posizione podalica del bambino o di altre circostanze per cui potrebbe essere necessario intervenire con un cesareo d’urgenza. Inoltre, in caso di parto prematuro, ovvero prima della 36° settimana, o al contrario in caso di superamento del termine di oltre due settimane, si consiglia di partorire in ospedale. Altre circostanze che rendono sconsigliato il parto in casa sono:

  • placenta previa,
  • parto gemellare,
  • sviluppato di anticorpi contro il fattore Rh,
  • patologie cardiache e circolatorie,
  • patologie renali,
  • epilessia,
  • diabete.

È importante, infine, che vicino casa ci sia un ospedale, non lontano più di 30/40 minuti, da raggiungere in caso di necessità. In ogni caso, al fianco della partoriente dovrà essere presente un’ostetrica esperta, dotata dell’attrezzatura necessaria.

Partorire in casa costo

Il costo del parto in casa attualmente è di circa 2000 euro, ma le tariffe delle diverse equipe che se ne occupano possono variare molto. Alcune regioni (per il momento Piemonte, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Lazio e provincia Autonoma di Trento), comunque, prevedono un rimborso spese per chi decide di partorire in casa, in quanto il parto in ospedale e se la donna decide di partorire in casa, la A.S.L. risparmia i soldi del parto ospedaliero.
